Details
Cretolamna is an extinct genus of mackerel shark which lived during the Paleocene epochs, approximately 70 to 65 million years ago.
The species of shark is the Cretolamna, which is one of the more well known of the Moroccan shark species.
This specimen comes from the phosphate mines located near Khourigba, Morocco and are dated to the Upper Cretaceous Period (99-65 Million Years Old) to the Eocene Period (54 Million Years Old), the mines are going through so much material the earth moved spans this time period.
